Grindroom Laborer Shift: 6:25am – 4:00pm Monday through Friday, +Weekends as Production Schedule Requires Pay Rate: $21.69 per hour All team members must abide by all of Burke's Plant Safety Rules! RESPONSIBILITIES: Supplies meat to the Grindroom from the meat receiving coolers via palletjack Inspect product Grinds meat Removes pallets and trash from the Grindroom Operates a metal detector belt and auger Ability to learn and perform multiple positions (Training will be provided) Work in temperatures 40–50 degrees and 32 degrees in the cooler Being able to operate an electric pallet jack (In-house training provided) Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced Being able to lift up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities

The Grindroom Laborer is responsible for supplying meat to the Grindroom, inspecting products, grinding meat, and operating food processing equipment. Additional duties include removing pallets and trash, and filling in for other plant positions as necessary.
