Description Position Summary: The Burrito Line Breaker plays a key role in maintaining speed and flow during high-volume service hours. This position is responsible for stepping into any position on the burrito assembly line to support team efficiency, provide breaks, or resolve bottlenecks. The ideal candidate is fast, flexible, and highly familiar with all line positions including tortilla warm-up, protein/veggie selection, toppings, wrapping, and guest interaction. Key Responsibilities: Rotate between burrito line stations as needed to maintain fast service and consistent quality. Provide timely breaks to line team members without disrupting workflow. Quickly assess the line to identify and resolve bottlenecks or slow-downs. Ensure all food handling and safety standards are followed during transitions. Communicate clearly with the team to ensure smooth handoffs and efficient service. Assist in restocking, cleaning, or prepping ingredients during downtime. Step into customer-facing or back-of-house roles as needed. Qualifications: Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment preferred. Must be cross-trained or willing to be trained on all burrito line stations. Strong multitasking and communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced setting. Friendly, team-oriented, and dependable. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Standing/walking for 6–8 hours per shift. Repetitive motion with hands, wrists, and arms (e.g., wrapping burritos).
