Description As a?Bus CNC Fabrication Foremen, you’ll lead a team of skilled craftsmen who turn raw materials into high-quality components that power Point Eight Power’s products. You’ll drive efficiently, ensure quality, and help us exceed customer expectations every time. ? Schedule:?Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 12am| Must be available to work occasional Saturdays Accountabilities: Lead the Team:?Supervise a team of skilled CNC operators and ensure all jobs are completed safely, on schedule, and to spec. Drive Operational Excellence:?Partner with the Fabrication Manager to plan manpower, equipment, and materials for on-time, on-budget project delivery. Hands-On Leadership:?Operate CNC machines when needed and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained. Ensure Quality & Safety:?Uphold the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and compliance with company procedures. Develop People:?Hire, train, and mentor your team. Inspire continuous improvement and pride in craftsmanship. Collaborate Across Teams: Work with Engineering to bring designs to life, coordinate with other project teams and foremen for seamless workflow, communicate project updates and resolve issues quickly. Qualifications: Education:?High School Diploma or GED, Required. ? Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing or Fabrication environment, Required. 3+ years in a supervisory or lead role, Preferred. Background in industrial markets or shipbuilding is a plus but not required. Required Skills: Proficient in CNC and manual machine operation (tight tolerances ±0.0001”). Strong mechanical, production, and design knowledge. Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and manufacturing software. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification a plus but not required.
