Tasks

The Role:

  • To prepare new vehicles for certification and customer handover.
  • To undertake a range of basic to complex repairs based on ability.
  • To prepare vehicles for MOT inspection and to undertake the final quality inspection.
  • Complete paperwork and job cards correctly.
  • Providing breakdown cover as a part of a weekly rota.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with legal or company standards.
  • To always maintain a safe and clean working environment, reporting immediately any deficiencies.

We Offer:

  • Hourly rate from £19.91 to £22.93 dependent upon skills and experience.
  • A 42-hour working week with a rotating shift pattern between 06:00hrs and 18:30hrs (excluding weekends).
  • Overtime paid at time plus 50% basic hourly rate on weekdays and time plus 75% basic hourly rate on weekends.
  • 33 days holiday per year including statutory holidays.
