Responsibilities
Putting equipment (e.g. mobility aids) and resident shopping into the bus
Folding and unfolding mobility aids
Staying with residents to allow staff to attend to other’s needs
engaging with residents, encouraging and supporting them to engage in the outing (e.g. accompanying a resident as they shop)
Aiding residents with simple mobilisation including pushing a resident in a wheelchair (where trained to do so)
Share with the Activities Officer / Lifestyle Coordinator at the end of your shift, a list of residents you have spoken to and information on topics discussed
Deliver a high level of customer services, including the timely provision of agreed services to residents/clients and internal customers
Drive in accordance with road and safety requirements maintaining due care at all time
