Are you a compassionate and reliable driver looking for a role where you can truly make a difference in people’s lives? Join Uniting Lilian Wells as a Bus Driver, where your daily work helps older Australians stay connected, safe, and supported.
In this rewarding role, you’ll provide safe and comfortable transport for our residents, ensuring they get to appointments, outings, and other Uniting locations with care and dignity. You’ll also lend a hand when needed, becoming a valued part of our supportive team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Safely transport residents and clients to various destinations, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Assist with mobility support, helping residents enter and exit the bus with ease.
  • Supervise and care for passengers during transit and outings.
  • Monitor and arrange vehicle maintenance, repairs and daily safety checks.
  • Step in to support care staff when needed, contributing to a warm and inclusive environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • A current MR or LR licence and proven experience in bus driving.
  • A genuine passion for working with older people and those with diverse needs, including dementia, developmental disabilities and psychiatric illnesses.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
  • A good understanding of local road networks.
  • Commitment to safety, inclusivity, and Uniting’s values.
