Description Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta, GA is looking for a Family Swim & Fitness Bus Driver who will be Responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from designated locations while ensuring a secure, timely, and positive travel experience. This role requires adherence to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and organizational policies. This role conducts vehicle inspections, maintains cleanliness of the bus, and communicates effectively with supervisors and passengers to support safe and efficient transportation services. DUTIES: · Safely operate a bus along assigned routes and schedules. · Transport passengers to and from designated locations, programs, events, or facilities. · Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. · Ensure passengers follow safety procedures, including proper boarding and exiting. · Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and incident reports as required. · Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and in proper working condition. · Follow all local, state, and federal traffic laws and transportation regulations. · Communicate route changes, delays, accidents, or concerns to supervisors promptly. · Provide courteous and professional customer service to passengers. · Assist with loading and unloading equipment or belongings when necessary. QUALIFICATIONS: · Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). · Clean driving record with no major violations. · Previous bus or commercial driving experience required. · Ability to operate a bus safely in various traffic and weather conditions. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations. · Current DOT medical certification preferred. · CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
