Description Drives parish school bus to transport students to and from school, field trips, athletic events, and other activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists students as necessary to enter and leave the bus. Keep order on the bus during operation. Loads and unloads baggage or luggage (if necessary). Keeps bus clean and in proper operating condition. Make minor repairs or adjustments as needed including checking tire air pressures, checking fluid levels, and keeping a truck logbook. Monitoring times for oil changes and other maintenance due dates in coordination with the Facilities Manager. Keeping accurate mileage log and trip log for periodic review and audit. Perform a pre-trip inspection before starting each route and notating it in log book. Perform other duties that arise or are assigned. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Must possess a clean drivers license. Requires an appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings. Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church. Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the diocese.
