Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per year
We are currently partnering with a large and reputable bus company based in Hull, and we’re looking for a skilled Bus Mechanic to join their team. REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Bus Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (or relevant mechanical qualification).
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A full UK driving licence (PCV licence is an advantage).
• A proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on a large fleet of buses, ensuring they are roadworthy and operating at peak performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Perform routine inspections, servicing, and MOT preparations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work completed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards in the bus industry.
• Work collaboratively with a team of engineers to minimise vehicle downtime and maximise service efficiency.
