THE ROLE:

Goodyear UK have a fantastic opportunity within our Consumer fleet team for a Business Account Manager.
This is a field-based role where the successful candidate will actively pursue new business growth through identification and development of new customers within the UK Fleet Market as well as maintaining and where possible growing existing fleet customers.
The main purpose of this role is to win fleet business in both tyres and service and deliver results in line with agreed EBIT and volume targets.
A breakdown of the principle duties and responsibilities can be seen below.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish an active pipeline of potential fleet customers through own lead generation to achieve agreed targets.
  • Responsible for completing all Tender opportunities in the UK and Ireland.
  • Coordinate tender response, collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Act as a main contact and liaise with European fleet team on European tenders.
  • Network and develop relationships with large leasing companies and selected local fleets.
  • Manage all new business account wins through implementation as part of the handover process to the account management team.
  • Sell and deliver the GY and HiQ Fleet value proposition to the Fleet customer at all levels.
