Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

Goodyear UK are looking for a Business Account Manager responsible for managing and growing relationships with key fleet customers and developing a new business pipeline within the UK Fleet Market. This role involves developing account plans, identifying opportunities for growth, and acting as a liaison between both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving ability, a deep understanding of business operations, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
The main purpose of this role is to sell and deliver the Goodyear and HiQ Fleet value proposition to fleet customers at all levels.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned business accounts leading business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
  • Monitor account specific KPIs with the Network Manager to proactively deliver to customer requirements
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, developing strategic account plans
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring a high level of satisfaction
  • Network and develop relationships with large leasing companies and selected local fleets
  • Establish an active pipeline of potential fleet customers through own lead generation to achieve agreed targets.
  • Manage all new business account wins through implementation as part of the handover process to the account management team.
