BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR APPRENTICE - LEVEL 3

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Administrator Apprentice to join the team. The successful applicant will provide administrative assistance to various departments, supporting managers and their staff in a variety of tasks relating to organisation and communication. This is a varied role, working within a busy office environment.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is one of the biggest names in business security in the UK, providing shutter doors and flexible manufacture installation services. They are looking for a presentable and trustworthy Administration Assistant to come in and support the business operations and running the office. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • GCSE or equivalent English (Grade A* - C 9/4) - Essential
  • GCSE or equivalent Mathematics (Grade A* - C 9/4) - Essential

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Good people skills
  • Confidence with talking on the phone
  • IT experience with Word and Excel desirable, but training will be given
  • Organisational skills
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Possible start date: ASAP
Total working hours: 35
Monday – Thursday between 9am – 5pm with half hour lunch and Friday between 9am - 2.30pm with half hour lunch

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR WORKING DAY:

  • Answering the telephone and assisting callers with their enquiries
  • Sending out invoices
  • Chasing outstanding payments from customers
  • Taking payments over the telephone
  • Administering credit checks
  • Updating internal systems with data
