Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE LIFE BETTER

In this role, you have the opportunity to develop general office support and business administration skills and simultaneously gaining a level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration. You will develop a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors, and will support your own progression towards office management responsibilities.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • General administrative tasks including supporting the smooth operation of the office.
  • Agenda Management & Diary Management where required.
  • Support the organization of meetings, conferences, events etc.
  • Handle mail, scanning, processing. Arrange travel plans including hotels, coordinate where required
  • Maintain databases.
  • Ensure tenders documents have the required wet signatures and are returned to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Support the Operations Excellence Managers with retained tasks from the GBS transition.
  • Cheque administration and invoicing.
  • Book Meeting Rooms.
  • Support the credentialing processes for field based staff.
  • Raise Purchase Orders.
  • Support the Company administration of processing Expenses
  • Support other administrators during holidays and sickness as required
  • Provide flexibility with supporting other activities as necessary that will support Managers.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • level 2 English and Maths or be happy to acquire this before your end point assessment
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.)
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to a variety of stakeholders and tasks
  • Manage a varied workload during the working day
  • Initiative and drive to succeed
  • Diplomacy due to sensitive nature of some tasks
