Description

We are currently recruiting for a full time Business Administrator to join our team in our Cork city office. The role will involve high-level administration and operational support to a Financial Consultant.
We are seeking for a professional with proven experience in financial services or a similar environment. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner, enthusiastic, meticulous and proactive and in turn you will gain an opportunity to join a welcoming and dynamic team within a well-known and unrivalled Financial Services Company where progression, opportunity and professional development is promoted and encouraged.
A QFA/ APA qualification is highly desirable but not essential, candidate working toward certification or with equivalent experience will also be considered.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A QFA/ APA qualification is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in administrative or similar role within financial services or regulated environment
  • Demonstrate ability to manage complex tasks with minimal oversight
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to handle confident information and sensitive information
  • A proven team player who can also work autonomously, demonstrating initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite
  • Good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads

Responsibilities
  • Diary, phone and email management
  • Working closely with the Financial Consultant on client file management
  • End to end Client file and case management
  • Processing and overseeing new business applications
  • Ability to service queries on new and existing business
  • Manage relationships with product providers, underwriters and clients
  • Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in all documentation and processes
  • Preparation of reports, quotes and file reviews
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records and databases
  • Address additional administrative or clerical duties as they arise
  • Utilise your knowledge of the local area to enhance customer interactions and support business activities
  • Contribution to process improvements and office operations
