We're looking for a versatile, organised and reliable Administrator to join our client's busy organisation, providing varied administrative support across several departments and playing a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.


This role combines strong administration with a front-of-house presence, so we're looking for someone who is equally comfortable managing spreadsheets and coordinating processes as they are welcoming visitors and being a proactive support to the wider business.


Job Title: Business Administrator

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Location: Bracknell, office-based


Key responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the office and wider business
  • Act as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for visitors, clients and colleagues
  • Meet and greet visitors, assist with hosting and ensure meeting rooms are prepared and well presented
  • Coordinate catering and refreshments for meetings and company events
  • Coordinate meetings, events and travel arrangements, including booking hotels, taxis, flights, restaurants and meeting venues
  • Support Facilities administration, including maintaining the asset register, raising PO's and liaising with suppliers and contractors
  • Provide basic first-line IT support and troubleshoot routine queries
  • HR administration surrounding onboarding and offboarding, long service awards, and employee rewards
  • Prepare welcome packs for new starters
  • Support health & safety activities and contribute to the smooth running of the office
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and make day-to-day administration more efficient


We are looking for:

  • An organised, dependable and reliable individual who is confident working with minimal supervision
  • Excellent administration, systems and coordination skills, with strong attention to detail
  • A warm, confident and professional personality with natural people skills
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities and remaining calm when things get busy
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience using SAP or a similar technical system would be advantageous
  • A proactive, practical approach with the ability to use your initiative
  • Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with people at all levels
  • A professional, approachable and helpful manner
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
