Our Information Factory Payments (IFP) is a key data warehouse that processes vast amounts of payments and savings data daily, transforming it into valuable information products. We support business partners with insights and overviews of their products and processes, and handle external reporting to regulators and other organizations You and your job "Data Driven Organisation" is one of the strategic themes of Retail NL within Rabobank. As a BI Business Analyst within the Cluster Payments & Savings Data, you make a crucial contribution to the development of fit-for-future data solutions for the Payments and Savings domain. Take data-driven working to a higher level by translating business requirements into (specifications for) robust BI solutions and valuable information products Build and maintain our Information Factory and information products by using a variety of data modelling techniques (Multi-dimensional, relational, DataVault, Medallion Architecture) Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions and standards Practical examples Dashboards for product managers and product owners to assist them in product development and tapping into new markets. Dashboards and reports with management information for managers. Information products for both internal (operational) departments as external parties such as DNB and the Tax Authority. As a BI Business Analyst you are working closely together with our PO’s and business stakeholders. You bridge the gap between business requirements and IT specifications for your devops team, you transform raw data into meaningful insights, and you ensure our organization can efficiently use this information. BI Solution Development & Validation practicing Agile/Scrum Work with BI developers and data engineers within you squad to ensure solutions are built according to specifications, and validate outputs against business expectations through testing and stakeholder feedback. Through your involvement in various information deliveries and insights, you will gain a deeper understanding of Rabobank’s business. You will be a mature conversationalist and capable of thinking at different levels of abstraction. You proactively consider business opportunities, assess ideas for their impact and feasibility, and play a guiding role in the decision-making process from business requirements to IT solutions. You and your talent HBO or university degree, preferably related to computer science and/or data Minimum of 3 years of experience as a BI Business Analyst or in a similar role within a data warehouse or data-intensive environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong understanding of data modelling principles (e.g., dimensional modelling, normalization) Familiarity with designing and implementing ETL processes and data integration Experience with data warehousing concepts & architecture and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) Eager to learn and thorough; you don't settle for half answers Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Inventiveness, initiative, courage, pushing boundaries, and overcoming obstacles are expected from you Experience in financial services or banking is a plus If you do not meet all the requirements but firmly believe that you can make a valuable contribution, do not hesitate to send us your motivation.
