Create your best future and join Westpac as a Business Analyst Customer Solutions UNITE Team is responsible for assisting the Enterprise UNITE programs on delivering their key solutions and ensuring that Customer Solutions teams needs are met. The team will ensure that solutions are customer focussed, improve business performance and minimise risks. Location: Parramatta-based role with occasional attendance at Kogarah. Role Duration: 18-month max term contract / secondment Why On-site? This is a highly collaborative position involving regular face-to-face workshops and close team interaction, making in-office presence essential. What’s the role? As a Business Analyst, you bridge business and technology to deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions aligned to customer needs and product vision. Using Transformation Delivery Standards, you apply Agile or waterfall methodologies to achieve efficient outcomes while managing risk. You represent the Customer Solutions (CS) FDoC for UNITE initiatives, aligning data and reporting requirements, shaping business cases, and ensuring the customer voice is reflected from an operational change perspective. Additionally, you’ll identify and manage impacts, risks, dependencies, and engagement needs across key CS objectives such as service levels, process simplification, control reduction, OPEX efficiency, and partnering strategies. This includes mapping impacted processes, systems, controls, and UDAs, and facilitating dependencies with other major transformation initiatives. You will ensure critical Customer Solutions resources are identified and planned, enable representation of CS business units in governance forums, support CS review and approval of UNITE business What do I need? Demonstrated experience in business analysis and change management within the banking or financial services sector Strong proficiency in process mapping, including analysis of current‑state and design of future‑state processes Proven experience undertaking impact assessments across people, processes, systems, and control environments Sound knowledge or practical experience within Complaints and Deceased Estates operational environments Demonstrated capability to effectively manage, engage, and influence stakeholders across business and technology domains Well‑developed analytical, problem‑solving, and requirements elicitation skills Why join us?
