Job Title: Business Analyst Experience Required: 5+ years Industry Focus: Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Automobile Location: Indore Work from Office (Mon-Fri) Employment Type: [Full-time] Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst with 5+ years of hands-on experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Automobile industries, along with solid functional understanding of data platforms, analytics, and reporting tools. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements. Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and workflow documentation. Develop BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Industry-Specific Expertise Analyze and improve processes within manufacturing operations, supply chain planning, procurement, inventory management, and automotive workflows. Provide insights and solutions to optimize production efficiency, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain performance. Data & Reporting Work closely with data engineering and BI teams to define data requirements and ensure availability of accurate, structured data. Create reporting mock-up, perform validation and documentation. Perform data analysis to support business decisions and identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities. Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration Support project delivery by coordinating activities, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions. Track project progress and communicate updates to leadership. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred. 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in manufacturing, supply chain, or automobile industries. Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes: production, planning, procurement, logistics, and quality management. Experience working with data platforms, data modeling concepts, ETL pipelines, and data governance. Knowledge in reporting and visualization tools is plus (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and basic SQL. Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in cross-functional, fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.). Exposure to digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing or supply chain. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
