POSITION: BUSINESS ANALYST

Location: Toronto Downtown, Ontario (Must be eligible to work in Canada)
Work Setting: Hybrid (2 Days Onsite / 3 Days Remote)

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong experience in digital banking domain (online banking, mobile apps, payments, customer onboarding, etc.).
  • Knowledge of core banking systems, channels, and customer journeys.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories), and process modeling.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced skills in tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field (Master’s or MBA an asset).

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for digital banking initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and process flows.
  • Support the design and implementation of online banking, mobile banking, payments, and customer-facing digital channels.
  • Conduct gap analysis and “as-is/to-be” process mapping for banking workflows.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives).
  • Work with QA and UAT teams to define acceptance criteria, create test scenarios, and support testing activities.
  • Provide insights on best practices and trends in digital banking, payments, and customer experience.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure alignment of project goals.
