Job Description
ADGA is hiring a Business Analyst to assist in the preventive maintenance plans to ensure operational integrity of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) in Correctional Service Canada (CSC) institutions, it is critical to maintain and update the preventive maintenance (PM) plan. The primary objective is to implement a comprehensive, structured PM program to avoid equipment failures, ensure system longevity, and align with evolving technologies and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a University Degree or College/CEGEP Diploma related to information system management, business, business administration, commerce, computer science, information technology, or science from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • 10 years within the past 15 years performing tasks including:
  • Developing and documenting statements of requirements for considered alternatives
  • Performing business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows
  • Defining and documenting interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems;
  • Establish acceptance test criteria with clients
    Additional Information
Responsibilities
  1. Obtain all Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks by category (21 categories within the CSC ESS contract) regardless of make or model. The PM must be generic and apply to all products in that category – see attached document.
  2. Generate an Excel-type file using the same standard as that used for UPS PM task.
  3. Include a virtual copy in PDF of each reference to the PM (code, standard or manufacturer’s manual).
  4. The PMs must be in French and English (not the reference documents, which must be in English only, attached document).
