The AI Business Analyst at Engage Building Products will analyze operational data, customer trends, and market performance to identify opportunities for AI integration. This role will translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations, ensuring AI-driven solutions align with our company’s strategic goals and enhance our presence in the building materials sector.

Responsibilities

· Gather and analyze business requirements to identify opportunities for AI applications within building materials production, distribution, and sales.
· Translate operational goals into AI solution roadmaps, KPIs, and measurable outcomes.
· Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and vendors to design and deploy AI tools that optimize sales forecasting, inventory management, and customer engagement.
· Evaluate and validate AI models to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company standards.
· Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate performance trends, forecasts, and insights to leadership.
· Provide predictive and prescriptive analytics to guide decision-making in product development, pricing strategies, and channel performance.
· Train end-users across sales, marketing, and operations to adopt and effectively use AI-driven tools.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree is an asset).
· 3+ years in business analysis, data analytics, or similar roles, with demonstrated experience in AI or machine learning projects.
· Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
· Understanding of AI/ML platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or similar) and data modeling principles.
· Knowledge of SQL, and familiarity with Python, R, or other analytics languages (preferred).
· Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and project management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.
