Summary
The IT company Andersen invites a Business Analyst to work on a project for one of our USA customers.
The customer is a global leader in providing critical information, analytics, and solutions for major industries and markets that drive economies worldwide. The company offers next-generation insights and analytics to customers in business, finance, and government. It was recognized by Forbes and has been featured on several of their lists, including the World’s Best Management Consulting Firms.
The project is a platform designed to provide access to documents, books, and technical documentation that are not available in the public domain on the Internet. It is specifically targeted at technicians and engineers who are engaged in innovation.
The position assumes 12 to 21 SET work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with business stakeholders to clarify and document requirements.
  • Developing and refining user stories to ensure they are ready for development.
  • Facilitating discussions between business and technical teams to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Managing the product backlog effectively to prioritize work based on business needs.
  • Identifying gaps in the current backlog and recommending actions to improve its health.

Requirements

  • Experience in business analysis for 4+ years.
  • Strong skills in writing clear, concise, and actionable user stories.
  • Experience in defining acceptance criteria and ensuring user stories are well understood by development teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders and understand their needs.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business units, ensuring alignment on project goals.
  • Proficient in gathering and documenting requirements.
  • Ability to ask the right questions to elicit detailed information from stakeholders.
  • Experience in prioritizing and managing a product backlog to ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Ability to assess the value of user stories and make recommendations for prioritization based on business impact.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues within the backlog and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and product owners.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.
