Description

HELP SHAPE THE WORK THAT POWERS BIZCOVER’S SUCCESS.

At BizCover, we make insurance easy by connecting small businesses with the right insurance products - quickly, and online. Our Product Team is at the heart of that mission, working closely with insurer partners to optimise, maintain, and evolve what we offer.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Product Team and help evolve our product offering by effectively working with our internal Product Specialists and the Insurance Partners on BAU updates to ensure that our products are compliant and remain competitive in the market.. This is a hands-on, mid-level role where you’ll analyse change requests, work with our internal team to assess commercial viability, and translate them into clear, actionable stories for our Product Maintenance squad. For larger requests or ongoing feature enhancement, you will also work with our technology project teams to define capability and support the ongoing operations of the product team.
You’ll gain deep exposure to our insurance products, commercial decision-making, and delivery processes, all while collaborating with a tight-knit, supportive team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Analyse insurer requests in collaboration the Senior BA and product managers to assess technical and commercial fit.
  • Turn concepts into clear Jira tickets, including documents, occupations, ratings, algorithms, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead refinement sessions with developers, QA, and technical BAs to ensure delivery clarity for the Product Maintenance squad.
  • Validate completed work before it heads to QA and keep documentation up to date in our document management tools.
  • Partner with underwriters and insurer teams to clarify pricing and product changes.
  • Support Agile ceremonies and maintain 2–3 sprints worth of refined, ready-to-go stories
