ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

  • Accountable for defining the business requirements of a Finance project as part of the Be Remarkable Programme ensuring business requirements are understood and documented including prioritisation for delivery
  • Accountable for process documentation - documentation of “as-is” and “to-be “process definition and documentation of the GAP adhering to BUPA standards.
  • Accountable for leading the GAP fit exercise and working with SMEs, Tech partners and 3rdparties to consider solution options.
  • Lead solution design working in partnership with Tech and any 3rd party partners. This would include process design, systems functionality requirements, report design etc.
  • Work with wider project team to define test plans and test scenarios and perform some test activities.
  • Work with wider project team to define training materials, support training content delivery.
  • Support the business through project go live - be responsible for “how to “question during warranty support.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality project deliverables.
  • Partner with the comms lead to coordinate the production of content for internal communications around the transformation (supported by comms professionals)
  • Manage relationships and be able to influence stakeholders, suppliers and staff involved in Bupa’s transformation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Finance SME with experience delivering regulatory, process or systems change projects within Finance as a process business analyst.
  • Subject matter expertise in Finance - to include areas such as management and financial accounting and reporting, tax, treasury, financial controls, actuarial.
  • Experience in process documentation including use of process mapping tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver change working cross functionally and in a global environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be curious and have a change mindset.
  • A familiarity with project management methodologies including agile. •Quantitative analysis skills, including the ability to check reported data (operational, commercial, or financial) for accuracy, consistency, and basis of preparation.
