Overview The role of the Business Analyst in the Retirement Solutions area is to identify the requirements from a technical and administration perspective and document these for new schemes to be successfully deployed to our administration platform. This includes all systems including registry, satellite, Reporting and Letters. Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities Strategic Focus Provide technical expertise to, investigate, analyse and resolve detailed and complex enquires to ensure a superior client experience; Complete task allocated by the lead/ project manager to prevent, early detect and resolve complex data/product related issues Execute plans to ensure the quality of products are maintained to the satisfaction of our clients as per each Scheme’s business rules Participate in investigations and design effort on projects / enhancements Participate in identifying and executing business improvements in line with the Quality Framework Participate in problem solving and collaboration and maintain healthy group dynamics Support, enhance and maintain standard practices & methodology within the team Build effective relationships between areas, teams, departments, units and/or organisations internally and externally to support the achievement of the team and business goals; Support a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality in line with Link’s core values. Identify and implement applicable investigatory and rectification techniques Operational Management Work with Schemes, internal / external auditors in delivering components of audits assigned by the manager. Complete task allocated by the supervisor to prevent, early detect and resolve complex data/product related to issues Work closely with the resources within the IT area and deliver cost effective solutions that meet client requirements Work directly with peers to ensure all enquiries are managed in line with SLA’s and each Scheme’s business rules Seek advice, guidance and support where appropriate analysis to manage and resolving complex queries People Leadership Liaise with different stakeholders to ensure expectation and requirements are managed Governance & Risk Promote and support a culture of risk awareness and proactive identification of potential issues; Ensure adherence and compliance with all legislative, financial, policy, procedural and quality requirements including OH&S issues. Experience & Personal Attributes A minimum of 3 years experience working as a Business Analyst. Strong Business Analysis experience and knowledge MPF/ORSO knowledge preferred but not required Ability to identify and document whole of Scheme Rules and requirements. Ability to articulate issues surrounding business, operational and technical risk management; Developed organisation and planning skills with the ability to deal with demanding workloads prioritise and meet strict deadlines; Ability to be deal with ambiguity and change in role direction and focus when required to support the business need; and Thorough knowledge of best practice administration processes and procedures.
