Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst to serve as a critical link between business stakeholders and the development team. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into clear technical documentation and actionable user stories. The ideal candidate will support the Product Manager in driving clarity, removing impediments, and ensuring alignment across teams. A strong understanding of business processes, agile methodologies, and technical tools is essential for success in this role.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Comfortable working with internal workflow tools and learning new systems quickly.
  • Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, and collaborative sessions.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories.
  • Skilled in process mapping and modeling using tools like Visio, IBM BPM, or BPMN.
  • Effective communicator across all organizational levels, from team members to executive sponsors.
  • Experience working with data-heavy environments and understanding data mapping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior analysts.
  • Experience in environments involving Model Management Life Cycle or SDLC is a plus.
  • MBA or consulting experience is preferred.
  • Certifications or experience in Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, or similar process improvement methodologies are advantageous.
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in business analysis, preferably within financial services or agile development environments.
    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related quantitative field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $137,100.00.
