About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Digital Core Project is Chevron’s transformation project that adopts standard industry processes and data best practices built into the SAP S/4HANA technology standard. The Project is looking for Business Analysts who will be involved and working on finance and business process transformation using this technology. The role provides strategic exposure to S/4HANA out-of-the box capabilities and the opportunity to develop a valuable understanding of global Finance processes and Digital Core’s project management framework. Specifically, the Business Analyst will work under the Continuous Design Finance team which covers core Finance process areas and relevant master data. Business Analyst for Accounting & Financial Close sub-team which covers General Ledger and Intercompany Accounting including FI (Financial Accounting) data objects such as GL account master data, Foreign Exchange rates, transaction type, Intercompany vendor and customer. Key job responsibilities include: Work with project and business unit representatives to support the execution of financial transformation and global finance process design initiatives. Participate in design workshops and help to develop, validate, and document new finance process designs. Support efforts to identify local business requirements and implement solutions. Identify change management implications associated with new finance process designs. Conduct testing of new system functionality. Support training development and delivery of new financial processes and SAP S/4 HANA functionality Provide deployment support and expertise during "go-live" periods About You We know our greatest resource is the ingenuity, creativity and innovation of our people. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting, management accounting, or accounting technology.
