Job Title

Business Analyst 

Deliver business analysis across a major government ICT system renewal, supporting requirements, system upgrades, change requests and continuous improvement. This role requires full-time onsite attendance in Canberra.

Canberra, ACT

Work Arrangement: Full-time onsite

Contract Duration: 12-month contract with multiple extensions

Security Clearance Requirement: Current NV1

Closing Date: Wednesday 26 August 2026

Essential Tasks 

• Conduct research, interviews and workshops to elicit business requirements and translate them into suitable artefacts.
• Analyse, model and organise information to reconcile conflicts and distinguish business needs from solution ideas.
• Support business change management and project delivery against schedule, business and budget objectives.
• Assist other analysts with planning and analysis while identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

Key Criteria

• Experienced Business Analyst with strong requirements elicitation, analysis and modelling capability.
• Ability to facilitate interviews and workshops and produce clear business requirements artefacts.
• Experience supporting system upgrades, change requests, defect fixes and business change activities.
• Ability to support project delivery and provide leadership assistance to other analysts.
