• Use acquired skills and experience related to business management and operations management, to provide support to end users, and facilitate solving their business problems/issues with software functionality and available technology.
• Often act as a business expert, and assist users in defining their needs, analyzing and documenting their business process, as well as drafting requirement documentation, for programming requests.
• Assist with the creation of procedures for applications functionality.
• May be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of corporate policies, standards, and methodologies.
• May be responsible for training users to interpret information systems reports, and effectively use the business systems.
• Work with other departmental personnel in developing corporate strategies to meet current and long-term organizational needs, identifying other software tools and hardware necessary for successful business problem resolution.
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives.
• Assist in assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying resources needed, developing, and working to achieve project schedules, results, and deadlines.
• Active member on business system implementation project team, supporting successful project metrics and operation of information systems and required equipment.
• Manage liaison between information systems and other functions in the company.
• Act to ensure integrity of corporate data, proprietary information, and related intellectual property through information security and access management.
