Business Analyst – Core Banking Location: Otigas (onsite) Engagement: Project-Based, 6-months Industry: Banking (Core Banking Transformation) Role Overview You will support business analysis activities for core banking initiatives, working across key banking domains such as CASA, credit, clearing, payments, accounting, data reconciliation, and non-financial risk (NFR). In this role, you will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to analyze requirements, evaluate processes, and support the design and delivery of solutions that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and regulatory compliance. You are expected to bring strong analytical capability, structured thinking, and the ability to work within a multi-stakeholder banking environment. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering You will: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to: CASA Credit Clearing and Payments Accounting Data Reconciliation Ensure requirements are clear, structured, and aligned with business objectives Process Analysis You will: Evaluate existing processes and workflows Identify areas for improvement and optimization Support initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency Data Analysis You will: Perform data analysis to support business decision-making Use analytical tools and techniques to validate data accuracy and integrity Regulatory Compliance You will: Support alignment of processes and solutions with relevant banking regulations and standards Ensure considerations around Non-Financial Risk (NFR) and operational risk are incorporated into requirements Stakeholder Engagement You will: Facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and compliance Ensure alignment on project requirements, priorities, and deliverables Communicate requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Solution Design Support You will: Work closely with IT teams to support solution design Ensure technical solutions align with defined business requirements Testing and Validation You will: Develop test cases and scenarios Support testing activities to validate that solutions meet business requirements Documentation You will: Create and maintain documentation including: Business requirements Process maps User guides Training and Support You will: Provide support to end-users on new systems and processes Assist in ensuring smooth adoption and transition Required Experience & Background Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field 4–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking sector Experience in one or more of the following domains: CASA Credit Clearing and Payments Finance and Accounting Data Reconciliation Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Core Skills Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail Strong communication and stakeholder management capability Preferred Experience Exposure to core banking systems and platforms Experience working in transformation or system implementation projects Knowledge of banking software and systems
