Thai Union Group PCL Position: Business Analyst - Corp functions Work location: Bangkok, SM Tower Building (Work on-site from Monday - Friday) Job Purpose: The Business Analyst is an impact role responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role plays a pivotal part in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating requirements into actionable plans for project teams. Job Responsibilities: 1. Requirements Elicitation and Documentation - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. - Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand business needs. - Translate high-level business goals into detailed functional and non-functional requirements. - Create comprehensive requirement specifications, use cases, and user stories. 2. Business Process Analysis - Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. - Model and document existing and proposed business processes using techniques such as BPMN. - Collaborate with process owners to streamline workflows and optimize operations. 3. Data Analysis and Reporting - Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making. - Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. 4. Solution Evaluation and Recommendation - Evaluate potential solutions and technologies to address business challenges. - Provide recommendations based on cost-benefit analysis and alignment with business goals. - Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proposed solutions meet technical requirements. 5. Change Management and Stakeholder Communication - Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and project teams. - Manage change requests and communicate changes to all relevant parties. - Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders. - Assist in the development of change management plans. 6. Testing and Quality Assurance - Support in developing test plans and test cases based on business requirements. - Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance processes. - Ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements. 7. Documentation and Training - Create user manuals, training materials, and documentation for end-users. - Involved in conducting training sessions and workshops for end-users. - Ensure end-users are proficient in using new systems and processes. Education/Training Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Information Technology). - Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA etc.) is advantageous. Experience: - 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or related roles. - Strong proficiency in requirement elicitation and documentation. - Experience with business process modeling and data analysis.
