We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to serve as the crucial bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams on a high-impact Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) initiative. In this role, you’ll translate real-world business problems into actionable data solutions, guiding the development of a modern data environment that empowers smarter decision-making.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with Data warehousing, Analytics, MMIS/MES, PERM, T-MSIS, CMS Federal Reporting or similar projects
  • Understanding of CMS reporting requirements for Medicaid.
  • Knowledge of health insurance, Health Management Organizations (HMO) and managed care principles including Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Experience with Teradata and SQL Assistant/Query Studio
  • Experience/knowledgeable in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes
  • Experience/knowledgeable in Reporting processes
  • Experience/knowledgeable in Databases (such as Teradata, Snowflake, or other similar Database Management System)
  • Knowledge of quality measures (such as CMS Core Set, HEDIS)
  • Knowledge of data integration, software enhancements/development/planning
  • Knowledge/experience with agile methodologies and projects
  • Experience with using Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Visi0

Responsibilities
  • Be the voice of the business — work closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and BI developers to define and document data and reporting needs.
  • Analyze existing data sources, workflows, and business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities.
  • Translate high-level business objectives into detailed functional and technical specifications for EDW development teams.
  • Support ETL design and implementation, data modeling, reporting specifications, and analytics delivery.
  • Partner with QA to build and execute robust test plans that ensure data integrity and business alignment.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and drive stakeholder sign-off with confidence and clarity.
  • Create clear, accessible documentation: data dictionaries, process maps, reporting templates, and more.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data warehousing capabilities and industry best practices.
  • Support change management, training, and stakeholder communication to ensure adoption and success.
