Description
Support the development and implementation of data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, compliance, and availability throughout the modernization effort Assist with data governance initiatives, including data cataloging, data lineage, and metadata management using tools such as Collibra Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams to ensure data-related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and prioritized Identify and help resolve data-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of data accuracy, completeness, and consistency Support master data management and data quality requirements in partnership with functional data owners Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data flow diagrams Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and governance teams to develop metrics and dashboards for data quality and compliance Contribute to the development and support of data governance program strategies, roadmaps, and project plans Participate in the development and maintenance of data ontologies, taxonomies, and semantic models to ensure consistency and interoperability Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 3-4 years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Quality Hands-on experience with data governance, data management, data quality, and data cataloging tools (e.g., Collibra) Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation. Experience with database management systems (IBM DB2 preferred) and cloud data platforms (Snowflake a plus) Familiarity with data lineage, metadata management, and master data management Understanding of data ontologies, taxonomies, and semantic modeling in enterprise environments Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
