Here’s what you can expect as a Business Analyst for Revenue Operations (ROPS), Registration Innovation Team at DaVita:
This position will understand the intricacies of the Revenue Cycle and initiate/co-drive project work that affects the bottom line of the organization and helps take Registration to World Class via strategic, measured, and intentional methods of improving the team.
The ideal candidate in this role will have excellent written and/or verbal communication, analytical skills and demonstrate ability to think critically and operate somewhat autonomously. Business Analysts will be able to synthesize findings through root cause analysis and/or data analytics, knowledge from previous projects and relationships with business partners in order to recommend, facilitate and drive process improvements. Analysts will see the process through from start to finish in terms of gathering data, communicating with stakeholders, implementation, and post-implementation plans.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience (will also consider new or recent graduates with experience working on projects in class while in school)
  • Project Management Experience preferred
  • Proven ability to be successful in an autonomous work environment
  • Intermediate Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience with data analysis and/or process innovation
  • Strong ability to create and/or communicate executive level materials
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Demonstrative technical and/or statistical understanding (SQL, Tableau, Access, etc.)

Responsibilities
  • Initiate and drive work streams of projects that directly impact the department’s overall health. This includes being able to create and maintain a robust project plan, set challenging goals and deadlines per executive asks, calculating impact to Yield, Bad Debt, and overall project ROI, and solution analysis. A Business Analyst will also participate and potentially lead project updates with executives and stakeholders.
  • Proactively monitor team’s book of business outcomes and findings through data analytics and/or trend analysis and root cause analysis. Take these findings and develop/pitch/initiate process improvements in the areas with the most significant impacts to the organization.
  • Meet with project teams on an ongoing basis, facilitate project team next steps through data driven findings on a facilitator and/or (data) analytical support level.
  • Meet with leadership regularly to maintain relationships with, and provide high level updates and results on initiatives.
  • Ad hoc data analytics and deep dive requests.
