Description
Document business and functional requirements, business rules, and User Stories and Epics. Become a subject matter expert for Mutual Funds Middle Office Applications. Assist Product Owners, Operations users and development teams by undertaking data research/analysis tasks and answering questions. Assist with QA/Testing to review/refine test plans and create more detailed test cases. Work with the project team and business to identify and resolve issues that arise during projects or as part of day-to-day business operations. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans. Build, develop, and grow relationships with IT and business areas vital to the success of the project. Lead all aspects of Business Requirements from elicitation to business process flow mapping to proposing new functionalities to users for optimizing their processes. Conduct gap analysis, scope estimation and impact analysis working with cross-functional teams. Create, maintain, and groom the Product Backlog, writing User Stories defining acceptance criteria, thereby enabling new functionalities in FPH area. Identify vertical and horizontal integration touch points. Call out dependencies and risks to ensure smooth development. Work with geographically dispersed teams (NYC, Alpharetta, Mumbai, and Bangalore). 6-8 years in banking or finance organizations as a Business Analyst. Experience with requirements gathering, requirements analysis, and requirements documentation. Excellent analytical skills: including a thorough understanding of business needs while assessing various technical options to determine optimal solutions. Competent and proficient understanding of general technology environments (e.g., platforms, business front-to-back processes, organizational structure, culture, and teams). Experience of collaborating with teams in different geographical locations; including business, technology, and vendor partners. Ability to effectively balance and execute tasks in a demanding environment. Experience of working within Agile Framework during Software Development Life Cycle. Proficiency with Jira and MS Office applications: Excel, Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
