As a Business Analyst supporting a high-impact product team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring IT solutions align with mission needs and customer expectations. You will work closely with product leadership to elicit, refine, and manage requirements while facilitating Agile ceremonies and enhancing team communication. Operating within a fast-paced Agile and DevSecOps environment, your ability to adapt and proactively contribute will be key to organizational success. This role calls for a dynamic individual who combines strong analytical skills with a passion for delivering mission-critical, user-focused software products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2–4 years supporting Agile software development teams
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps principles
• Familiarity with frontend and backend technologies
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365
• Working knowledge of AWS or other cloud environments
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, backlog management, and documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical mindset with interest in data science and performance metrics
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
• Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and cybersecurity authorization processes
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience
• Background in user research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement
• Experience operating across the full software development lifecycle
• Exposure to Agile frameworks such as SAFe
• Cloud budgeting and forecasting knowledge
• Relevant industry certifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and translate them into backlog items and governance artifacts
• Support backlog development: Epics, Features, User Stories, and refinement
• Assist in roadmap creation, estimation, test planning, and complexity assessment
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Identify, map, and manage internal and external dependencies and risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery
• Generate and maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and body of evidence (BOE) artifacts
• Provide performance insights through data analysis and metrics reporting
• Coordinate team, stakeholder, and customer meetings to ensure clear alignment
• Use tools like Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 for day-to-day operations
