Job Purpose The Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging business requirements and technical execution within Pega-based systems. Working closely with the Lead System Architect and leadership team, this individual will help define, design, and implement business and technology strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of business processes, requirements analysis, and Pega application capabilities to deliver robust, efficient, and user-focused solutions. Key Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to ensure mutual understanding of goals and deliverables. Collaborate with business leaders and analysts to gather, document, and translate user stories and functional requirements into clear business and technical specifications. Partner with Pega System Architects to design and implement business solutions aligned with strategic objectives. Lead workshops and discovery sessions to capture business processes, define solution needs, and identify process improvement opportunities. Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements, functional designs, user stories, test cases, and training materials. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews. Define acceptance criteria, support testing and validation, and ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards. Develop and maintain user training materials and release documentation. Mentor and support junior business analysts and team members, promoting best practices in requirements management and agile delivery. Lead client workshops to present solutions, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with end-user expectations. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify risks, propose mitigations, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to evolving business analysis methodologies. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 7 years in business analysis and use case development. At least 7 years of experience as a Pega Business Architect, with 3 years of current Pega certification. Proven experience working in software development and systems integration environments. Strong background in managing software functional requirements throughout the SDLC. Experience working within Agile software development frameworks. Skilled in business process modeling, change management, and requirement documentation. Experience defining functional designs, conducting test execution, and leading product releases. Ability to design wireframes, prepare user documentation, and deliver end-user or client training. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work independently, showing creativity, initiative, and problem-solving capability. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience). Pega Certified Business Architect (CBA) certification required. IT technical background is considered a plus.
