POSITION OVERVIEW:

Brilliant Earth is hiring a hands-on Ecommerce Business Analyst who will play a key role in Brilliant Earth’s mission by automating and building processes for scalability and growth. This role will also be accountable for developing a wide range of quantitative analyses and actively using these analyses to drive business decisions.
As the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for a wide range of projects, including creating workflows and customizing reports, searches, and forms. You will also write requirements and communicate directly with our internal teams, as well as contracted developers, to deliver product enhancements, fix issues, and optimize E-Commerce business process through the creation of integrations, flows, scripts, and customized components. You will drive and QA automation projects to streamline our operational processes and be responsible for the continuous improvement within our various departments. You should be proactive, innovative, and be able to identify areas for process improvement and offer solutions to enhance procedural efficiencies.
The targeted budget for this position is $75k-90k/year. This compensation budget range may be adjusted at any time at the discretion of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience & Education:

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or technology.
  • A BA degree (or equivalent experience) is preferred.

Technical & Industry Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of Ecommerce (Shopify preferred) and business operations, such as inventory management, purchasing, and finance.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP and Salesforce CRM software and integrations preferred.
  • Background in quantitative analysis or retail operations is a plus.

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze and optimize business workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand pain points and recommend best practices for process enhancements.

Support & Integration Management:

  • Own and maintain integrations such as email automation, appointment booking, live chat, social shopping, web analytics, SMS platforms, and other MarTech solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure seamless user experiences and effective use of Salesforce and Shopify solutions.

Training & Documentation:

  • Develop new and update existing Process Flows and accompanying documentation for business processes, requirements, and technical workflows.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure proper system utilization.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

  • Create and execute test plans to ensure the functionality, performance, and quality of digital operations solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise to minimize disruption.

Project Management & Coordination:

  • Lead project scoping, scheduling, and execution, including UAT and production release.
  • Facilitate internal and cross-functional project meetings, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
