Egis Projects Philippines Inc (EPPI) provide services to private sector entities involved in the business of building, operating or managing roadways, railways, and other transportation infrastructure projects. EPPI has been appointed to design, develop, support and maintain a tolling system based on free flow, nonstop operating mode. This toll system shall have components located on various points (tolling points) of the toll roads- Roadside Equipment (which is subcontracted), and 2 pieces of centralized equipment cloud-based (Operation Back Office and Commercial Back office), being developed by EPPI’s Software Development Center (SDC) team. These mainly consist of web-based software (Customer Portal, Account Management Systems, Customer Relationship Management system, Back-office portal), microservices back ends (API) and mobile apps, managing more than 3 million end user accounts. Job Description As part of the Software Development Center, you collaborate with both functional and technical stakeholders to define product features and enhancements. You will be working on the MLFF (Multi Lane Free Flow tolling) project. As the front-line of the software design review, you will: Collaborate and coordinate with NLEX to: Analyze existing business processes, e.g. through interview of operating staff and capturing the processes and business rules being in use Identify opportunities for improvement, e.g. through understanding of existing operational ‘’pain points’’ and ‘’wish lists’’ Recommend & document solutions to enhance process efficiency and performance, i.e. through functional specifications, such as user stories and use cases Work closely with software engineers, to assist with producing technical specifications to enable the technical implementation of the business and functional requirements. Remain “customer-centric” oriented and leverage feedback for continuous improvement. As a seasoned software business analyst, you will work with Egis Integration Specialist to support various Integration Working Groups (IWG) : Gather Technical information about specific interfaces (payment gateways, case management, call centers…) Define interfaces requirements for their integrations into the product. Design/Specify the interface integration with the product. Act as a liaison between functional stakeholders, software engineers, and third-party integrators. Duties and responsibilities Accountable for the functional design activity: Analyze business processes, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing solutions, from requirements workshops to the final design validation, in collaboration with client stakeholders and internal engineering teams. Support Integration Working Groups (IWG) and design related interface integration with the product. Ensures that product features and enhancements fall within the scope of the project and meet acceptance criteria. Create clear and concise design documentation, process flows, and solutions. Work with cross-functional teams, including the IT development team, product management, and other departments. Qualifications Education and experience Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience as a Software Business Analyst. Required skills and qualifications Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Analytical skills: Ability to understand high level requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Problem-Solving skills: Strong ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions. Technical skills: Familiarity with IT systems, data analysis tools, and business process modeling techniques. Knowledgeable of UML drawings: Activity diagram, Sequence diagram, Component diagram… Technical software specification writing and understanding. Highly autonomous and eager to dig technical documentations. Excellent time management skills. Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
