JOB DESCRIPTION:

eNGINE is hiring a Business Analyst with SQL skills to support one of our enterprise clients located in downtown Pittsburgh. This position is full-time and requires on-site work five days per week. The ideal candidate will be experienced in application development, requirements gathering, and have financial experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, application support, or a related technical role.
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Proficiency in SQL with the ability to query, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development, enhancements, and functionality of business-critical applications.
  • Use SQL to pull & analyze datasets, identify issues, and support business reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including: System Analysts, Developers, & Business Unit SME’s to achieve project and performance goals.
  • Evaluate and improve application performance based on system metrics and user feedback.
  • Serve as a liaison with vendors and support personnel during troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Participate in change control procedures and contribute to team discussions around requirements and improvements.
  • Communicate findings and status updates to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
