BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

Nucor Business Technology (NBT) is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst for its Finance team to work with NBT teammates and other partners to align, optimize, and deliver a fully functional ERP/MES solution to Nucor’s Sheet, Plate and Structural Mills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating discussions between divisions and partners to develop aligned business processes.
  • Performing gap analysis and documenting comprehensive business requirements, such as process flows, business rules, interface design, data analysis and data mapping in collaboration with subject matter experts and IT stakeholders.
  • Solution design: define design options, analyze potential value, recommend solutions, specify and model requirements, etc.
  • Testing: create test scenarios/scripts (for functional, negative and regression testing) and execute testing in various environments
  • Training: create related documentation and training for both internal and external customers/users.

This is a full-time position with Nucor Business Technology, based in Irving, TX. Project-related overnight travel as needed, up to 50%.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–4 years of experience in accounting or a finance-related role (public or corporate accounting experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reporting standards
  • Immigration or work via sponsorship will not be provided for this position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA, CPA, or CMA
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Oracle EBS and/or PSI
  • Relocation to the Dallas area
