Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Business Analyst - FinOps will act as a frontline customer liaison for all Non-Rahona Assets on the DaaS data platform, enhancing FinOps’ understanding of user activities and ensuring effective training and support for new monitoring and reporting tools. This role is pivotal in driving user adoption and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for DaaS data platform users, addressing inquiries and providing support.
  • Conduct user training sessions on new monitoring and reporting tools.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback to guide tool and process enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain user engagement materials, including training guides and FAQs.
  • Collaborate with the tech team to ensure tools meet user needs and expectations.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing DaaS data platform users.
  • Facilitate user onboarding and ensure a smooth transition to FinOps tools and processes.

EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 2-5 years of experience in user engagement, customer support, or training, preferably in a technology or cloud services environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through experience in BI solutions .
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze user feedback and translate it into actionable improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in FinOps or cloud cost management.
  • Experience with data platforms and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience conducting training sessions and developing user materials.
  • Proficiency in SQL or other relational database management systems (RDBMS)
