SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst role within project or change environments.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and documentation standards.
  • Proven ability to bridge business requirements and technical delivery.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, PMO 365, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Agile and traditional delivery models.

Elicit, analyse, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

  • Produce clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, and process maps.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications in collaboration with developers and architects

Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are feasible and aligned with business goals.

  • Contribute to the design process, ensuring traceability between business objectives and system implementations.
  • Identify and help resolve gaps between current systems and evolving business needs
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst to support the successful delivery of IT initiatives through high-quality analysis, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration. This 6-month contract role will see you working across multiple concurrent projects, engaging with both business and technical teams to translate needs into valuable solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements Gathering & Documentation
-

Elicit, analyse, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

  • Produce clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, and process maps.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications in collaboration with developers and architects.

Solution Design Support
-

Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are feasible and aligned with business goals.

  • Contribute to the design process, ensuring traceability between business objectives and system implementations.
  • Identify and help resolve gaps between current systems and evolving business needs.

Project Delivery Support
-

Prepare project documentation and artefacts, including those aligned with ISO compliance.

  • Coordinate document reviews and approvals, ensuring alignment with governance frameworks.
  • Actively support Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, UAT, and change management.

Stakeholder Engagement
-

Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Act as a conduit between technical teams and business users to ensure shared understanding.
  • Provide regular progress updates and insights to support strategic decision-making.
