Job Description: Process Mapping/Documentation/Business Analyst | Finance and Risk Advisory Services
We are seeking a detail-oriented Process Mapping, Documentation Specialist and Business Analyst to support business process initiatives by documenting, analyzing, and optimizing workflows across departments. This role requires knowledge of process mapping, workflow documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure clarity, efficiency, and compliance with organizational standards.
The candidate will work closely with stakeholders, process owners, and technology teams to identify inefficiencies, create standardized documentation, and support automation efforts where applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management or a related field.
  • Relevant coursework in Managerial Statistics, Financial Markets and Consulting Models & Methods is preferred.
  • Familiarity of process mapping, business process documentation, or workflow optimization.
  • Experience and exposure to some form of project management or an analyst role during the internship period of any project work done in the graduation/post-graduation time

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio
  • Knowledge of some basic tools like – MS Office tools, Tableau; awareness of SWL, Python will be preferred

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to documentation and process standardization.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, and document business processes, workflows, and SOPs using tools like Visio.
  • Develop process flow diagrams, swimlane diagrams, and value stream maps to enhance operational visibility.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Policy Guidelines.
  • Ensure all documentation is aligned with compliance standards and internal governance policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate processes and maintain version control of documentation.
  • Support compliance and regulatory audits by providing well-documented process workflows.
  • Stay updated on the latest process improvement methodologies.
  • Recommend and implement best practices for documentation, process efficiency, and operational excellence.
