About the role RFQ Opportunity 3-months Contract Melbourne based Hybrid Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst / System Solutions Specialist to lead critical projects within our organization. The successful candidate will bring a proven track record in system solution analysis, Agile methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and process re-engineering, particularly within government and health sector environments. This role involves implementing, managing, and monitoring project activities to ensure successful delivery that aligns with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will develop practical and workable approaches, work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, and ensure solutions meet business needs effectively. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support system solution analysis activities, ensuring delivery of high-quality functional specifications. Document business requirements and design functional solutions using user stories, wireframes, mock-ups, and other tools. Facilitate workshops and work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure alignment. Negotiate effectively with business users, technical teams, product owners, and stakeholders to achieve desired project outcomes. Manage and monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Support system demonstrations, showcase solutions, and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Contribute to process re-engineering efforts by capturing current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") business process flows. Develop system integration specifications and collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless system interoperability. Engage with government organizations and understand sector-specific requirements to tailor solutions accordingly. Ensure project delivery within the health sector or community service data contexts, leveraging relevant experience. Mandatory Evaluation Criteria: Candidates must demonstrate they meet the following criteria: Possess a minimum of three years of proven experience in system solution analysis. Have extensive experience providing Agile business analysis and functional analysis services. Demonstrate proficiency in documenting business requirements and designing functional specifications through user stories, wireframes, and mock-ups. Exhibit strong negotiation skills for engaging with stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and product owners. Show leadership capabilities in facilitating workshops and working directly with solution stakeholders. Have prior experience working with government organizations. (Desirable) Experience in process re-engineering, capturing both current and future state business processes. (Desirable) Experience in developing system integration specifications. (Desirable) Experience in showcasing system solutions and supporting User Acceptance Testing. (Desirable) Experience delivering projects within the health sector or handling community service data. Qualifications: Relevant degree in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or related field. Proven experience in system analysis, Agile frameworks, and stakeholder management.
