Description
If you love working with data to solve business problems, enjoy learning and uncovering new insights, and want to be part of a collaborative and passionate team, this is the role for you! What you will do You will join the Revenue Operations team at Funnel as our lead Business Analyst, working closely with commercial leadership. This role is all about curiosity, impact, and using data to answer the questions that truly matter to the business. You will partner closely with the VP of Revenue Operations on forecasting, revenue target setting, and performance tracking. You will also collaborate with Finance and act as the primary customer of Funnel’s Internal Data and AI team, ensuring our data stack supports the questions the business wants answered. This is a high-impact role where your work will regularly be part of leadership discussions, forecasting cycles, and monthly business reviews. You won’t just crunch numbers—you’ll be involved in the full journey from question to insight to recommendation to change, and see your work influence real decisions. 🚀 Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Support forecasting processes and revenue planning in close partnership with RevOps and Finance. Analyze sales performance, pipeline generation, and commercial trends to uncover insights and opportunities. Turn complex data into clear, compelling stories that leaders can act on. Work hands-on with our data stack, using SQL daily and collaborating closely with the data team to shape models and tables. Act as a bridge between technical data capabilities and everyday business needs. Partner with RevOps to spot gaps in processes, enablement, and reporting, and help define practical solutions. Some examples of past and current deliverables: Deep dives into sales performance trends to explain what is driving results and where to focus next. Pipeline generation analysis that directly informs weekly and monthly forecasting decisions. Insights that feed into enablement initiatives and process improvements across go-to-market teams. Who you are You enjoy thinking about the business as much as working with data. You care about quality, accuracy, and understanding the story behind the numbers. You are curious, thoughtful, and enjoy taking ownership of problems from start to finish. You love learning new things and are excited to work closely with senior leaders to help them make better decisions through data. We are looking for someone who is: Naturally curious with a lifelong learning mindset. Conscientious and collaborative, quality-driven, with pride in their work. Comfortable balancing business thinking with an analytical approach. Confident in presenting insights to senior stakeholders, including leadership and board-level audiences. A clear and open communicator who can distill complicated data into meaningful insights. Experiences & skills: Strong SQL skills and confidence working directly with data tables daily. Experience using BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, knowing when to go beyond dashboards for deeper analysis. Proficiency in Python or R, or strong motivation to grow these skills to support advanced analysis. Experience working with commercial, revenue, or internal business data. Fluent in written and spoken English. It is beneficial if you also have: Experience working with SaaS, CRM, sales pipeline, or go-to-market data. Exposure to forecasting, revenue planning, or performance management. Experience leveraging AI and data automation.
