Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in business analysis and experience in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role involves working on moderately complex projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to the elicitation, documentation, and implementation of business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews.
  • Create clear and detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment of solutions with business objectives.
  • Assist in identifying and analyzing business problems and proposing effective solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure clarity and understanding of requirements.
  • Support testing efforts by assisting with test case creation and validating that solutions meet requirements.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance business operations.
  • Provide support during project implementation and post-deployment phases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with requirements elicitation techniques, such as interviews, surveys, and workshops.
  • Familiarity with creating process flow diagrams, wireframes, or other visual aids (e.g., using tools like Visio or Lucidchart).
  • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and requirements management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage stakeholder expectations.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with data analysis and basic SQL querying.
  • Familiarity with business process modeling notation (BPMN) or similar frameworks.
  • Exposure to software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
