Description

About the role
We’re looking for a mid-level Business Analyst based in the US to join our remote-first team. In this role, you’ll serve as a bridge between clients, users, and our internal development teams—helping define software solutions that deliver real business value. You’ll support discovery workshops, contribute to pre-sales scoping, and translate client needs into clear documentation, such as user stories, process maps, and low-fidelity wireframes.
You’ll also help coordinate next steps and maintain project momentum by applying light-touch project management skills. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 2–4 years of experience who’s confident working with cross-functional teams, passionate about understanding client challenges, and comfortable communicating across time zones.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To qualify for this position, you should have the following skills:

  • 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Functional Consultant
  • Strong experience documenting business requirements and translating them into clear deliverables
  • Comfortable participating in workshops and discovery sessions with client stakeholders
  • Experience with requirements documentation tools and methodologies (user stories, wireframes, process maps, etc.)
  • Familiarity with agile delivery environments and digital project lifecycles
  • Ability to support early-stage delivery by coordinating tasks, tracking actions, and following up with stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in remote and asynchronous environments
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across different time zones
  • Exposure to tools such as AMP, Jira, Visual Spec or similar project/prototyping platforms is a plus
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a dynamic role with a diverse set of responsibilities, including the following:

  • Participate in discovery and scoping sessions to help define problem areas and solution opportunities
  • Support or co-facilitate workshops by capturing insights and translating discussions into structured documentation
  • Translate requirements into user stories, feature outlines, data maps, or low-fidelity prototypes
  • Collaborate with solution design and delivery teams to ensure shared understanding of the intended solution
  • Contribute to the creation of state diagrams, process flows, and interaction models to communicate system behaviour
  • Track actions, next steps, and deliverables using project management tools such as AMP
  • Maintain and update requirement backlogs, ensuring traceability across changes
  • Liaise between client stakeholders and internal teams to manage feedback, clarify scope, and surface key decisions
  • Support Project Managers in highlighting risks, coordinating handovers, and aligning scope across teams
  • Continuously seek ways to improve internal scoping and requirements-gathering processes

To be a match for this role, you will demonstrate the following personal characteristics.

  • Organised – Brings structure to ambiguity and follows through on details
  • Curious – Eager to understand client challenges and uncover what lies beneath initial requests
  • Analytical – Enjoys making sense of complex systems and breaking them into understandable parts
  • Proactive – Takes initiative and moves work forward without needing constant direction
  • Empathetic – Listens well, considers diverse perspectives, and builds strong relationships
  • Collaborative – Works well with cross-disciplinary teams and supports collective problem-solving
  • Adaptable – Comfortable with changing information, evolving scope, and iterative processe
