Who You Are:
Georgia Main Food Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong Business Analytics skills to join our IT team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in gathering business requirements, analyzing data, building reports, and supporting IT project delivery. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge business needs, technical teams, and project execution.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • 2–4 years of experience in business analysis and/or project coordination.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Retail or consumer goods industry knowledge is an asset.
  • Bonus points if you have: PMP/CBAP certification or experience with ERP/POS systems
Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements.
  • Map current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate business needs into actionable specifications.
  • Support system testing, validation, and UAT.

Data & Analytics

  • Write and execute SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to deliver business insights.
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure accuracy of data-driven solutions.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and ensure clear communication across teams.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring IT/business projects.
  • Track tasks, deliverables, risks, and issues across teams.
  • Prepare status reports and maintain project documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, and follow-ups.
