Description
Company Description Established in 1982 as a leading Office Automation Solutions provider for the UAE and the wider region, GCG Enterprise Solutions is a turnkey tech solutions provider offering Print Solutions, IT Services, AV and Digital Transformation Solutions. Partnering with leading technology vendors, GCG creates bespoke solutions and services for key industry sectors. Job Description JOB SUMMARY The Business Analyst is responsible for driving business value realisation across the Digital Transformation portfolio. The role bridges business stakeholders and delivery teams by translating complex business needs into clear, testable requirements and actionable delivery artefacts — including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria — while ensuring end-to-end alignment across product owners, developers, and QA teams. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES A. Requirements Elicitation & Discovery Lead workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to capture functional and non-functional requirements. Analyse current-state (AS-IS) and define target-state (TO-BE) processes, identifying pain points and opportunities for automation and optimisation. Build stakeholder alignment on scope, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, and priorities. B. Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) Produce high-quality BRDs covering business context, objectives, scope, stakeholder maps, process flows, data needs, integrations, and success criteria. C. Agile Delivery Enablement (Jira) Convert BRD requirements into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira. Own and maintain product backlog hygiene: prioritisation inputs, dependencies, story readiness, and Definition of Ready (DoR). Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews with clarified requirements and decision logs. D. Cross-Functional Alignment Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams (development, QA, architecture, UX/UI). Clarify business rules, data definitions, edge cases, and exception handling to minimise rework and delivery risk. Align with the development team on feasibility, sequencing, estimation inputs, and solution options. E. Quality, UAT & Benefits Realisation Support QA by validating test scenarios and ensuring coverage against requirements and acceptance criteria. Plan and coordinate UAT readiness: test cases, user training materials, and defect triage. Track outcomes and ensure delivered functionality meets expected business benefits and KPIs. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications: CBAP/CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Scrum/Agile BA. Additional Information Experience 5–7 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in digital transformation or software delivery. Experience in enterprise-level digital transformation programmes. Skills & Abilities Hands-on experience with Jira (story writing, workflows, boards, dashboards); strong BRD and user story documentation skills; excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills. Proficiency with Confluence, MS Visio/Lucidchart, and Miro/FigJam; experience with UX/UI collaboration and data analysis; Arabic language skills are an advantage. Department: Sales
