JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Business Analyst to lead and execute Data Quality Control Testing activities under the Enterprise Data Management Office (EDMO) procedures. This role supports Risk and Compliance by managing Critical Data across Canada and the U.S., ensuring adherence to new governance controls and elevating enterprise data risk management practices.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 4+ years in a challenge function (e.g., 1B testing, Risk Oversight, Internal Audit).
• Deep knowledge of Data Governance and Data Control Frameworks.
• Strong background in stakeholder management across business and tech teams.
• Proven ability to manage deliverables under tight Agile/Waterfall deadlines.
• Understanding of risk management and governance processes within financial services.

NICE-TO-HAVE EXPERIENCE:

• Certification in Risk Management
• Experience with control testing frameworks and Vision platforms
• Hands-on use of Alteryx or similar tools
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel

• Execute Data Quality Control Testing independently, documenting processes and outcomes.
• Apply EDMO procedures and evaluate data controls effectiveness, recommending improvements.
• Develop testing documentation and ensure timely, high-quality reporting.
• Act as subject matter expert for supported applications/EUCs and their risk frameworks.
• Facilitate integration of cross-pod processes as part of the project testing function.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and complex reporting.
• Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across technology, compliance, and governance.
• Identify issues proactively and escalate as needed to meet project milestones.
